We are all part of this interesting time in communication history and are all a part of this transformation, whether we realize it or not.   Ten years ago, I heard one PIA expert say that there had been more changes in the Print & Communication industry in the previous 20 years than the previous 1,000 years combined.  I would venture to say that there have been just as many changes in the past ten years since that statement was made, making this a volatile, yet exciting time to be in the industry.   Embracing these changes and making an effort to continuously educate oneself on the emerging trends and technology, will put the Print Buyer in prime position to lead innovation within their organizations and thus, will elevate their visibility and importance to their organizations.
