CHESTNUT HILL, MA -- March 20, 2009 -- In an economy such as this one, networking is one skill that everyone can benefit from. On April 7th, Boston Print Buyers will present a special lesson in networking from 6 to 8:30 pm at the Doubletree Suites in Waltham, MA. The session will feature national networking authority Diane Darling.

Founder of Effective Networking, Inc., Diane Darling has received rave reviews for her seminars and speeches. She is increasingly sought after as an expert resource on the subject of networking.

McGraw-Hill commissioned Darling to write the definitive book on networking. The Networking Survival Guide was published in April 2003 and went into a second printing just 90 days after the book hit the shelves. It has been translated into Korean and Taiwanese. In 2005, McGraw-Hill published Darling's second book, Networking for Career Success, which has since been translated into Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Portuguese, and Thai.

Darling has appeared on NBC Nightly News and in The Wall Street Journal, the San Francisco Chronicle, and The Boston Globe. She is a member of the CEO Club. Darling is also a columnist for the Boston Business Journal. She recently taught in the MBA program at Boston University.

"I wanted to offer our attendees a lesson in how to network," said Boston Print Buyers' founder Margie Dana, "as opposed to a place just to network. For years I've been seeing Diane Darling's name in newspapers and other business media. It was a real coup to get her for our dinner program next month - and I have a printer to thank for it. Paul Carroll of American Printing in Rhode Island made this connection possible."

The cost to attend the April 7th meeting is $45 for BPB members, $65 for non-members. A full buffet dinner, cash bar, and Diane Darling's lesson in networking are all included. Parking is free.

The Doubletree Guest Suites is conveniently located at exit 27B off Route 128 at the corner of First Avenue and Winter Street in Waltham.
