Marketing Services Coordinator

Reports To: Director of Catalogs, Marketing Services
Position located in Beverly, MA

Position Summary:
Oversee all print products (catalogs, collateral, etc.) for individual Orchard Brands titles as part of a fast paced, deadline driven, in-house agency.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Compiling specs, recommending alternative options, requesting bids, analyzing quotes, recommending final vendor selection, producing print orders, and tracking job progress

• Coordinates print production schedules for all projects.

• Acts as liaison with all printers, paper vendors, and internal marketing and finance department for all titles as well as all other internal departments as applicable.

• Coordinates paper procurement and tracking, budget maintenance (including invoice processing), postage management including co-bind/co-mail opportunities, and cost analysis reports for internal budget approval.

• Tracks and reports on schedule and cost data.

• Supports Director and department as needed.

Essential Experience:

• BA in Printing or equivalent experience.

• 5 years experience in a printing or catalog production environment.

• Full knowledge of gravure, web offset, and sheet-fed manufacturing processes.

• Full knowledge of paper management.

• Full knowledge of print production, estimating, commercial production and budget processes.

• Account management experience required.

• Excel proficiency required.

• Mac experience a plus.

• Must be a high-energy self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Excellent project management, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and multiple-project coordination skills required.

• Must be a team player and be quality and deadline driven.

• Flexibility during peak workload periods is a must, as is versatility.
