Frank Romano, Keynote Speaker
Ask the leading print experts who they look up to and one name comes up again and again: Frank Romano. He's the mastermind behind the industry's indispensable Pocket Pal. The editor of the definitive Encyclopedia of Graphic Communication. The author of 44 books, including the first works on Quark, InDesign, PDF, digital printing, multi-media and more. He has started nine magazines, written more than 4,000 articles and his writing has been translated into Russian, Chinese, Arabic, French, German and Spanish.
After many years in publishing, Frank joined RIT as a visiting professor. The one-year appointment turned into 14 years. He began the world's first online Master of Science degree in printing and pioneered new curriculum in digital printing and workflow.

Connolly
Jill Alex Connolly has worked in the graphics industry for 20 years, nearly all of which have been in a print buying capacity. As Manager of Corporate Communications at Analog Devices, she heads up a 34-person staff. Although much of what is produced now gets posted to the Web, Jill's group purchases approximately $1.2 million in print annually.
In her tenure at Analog Devices, Jill has seen the company's revenues double to $2.4 billion. ADI's core analog and digital signal processing technology enables a wide diversity of applications in virtually every end market, including digital cameras, cell phones, PCs, ultrasound equipment, and cars. ADI has more than 75 sales offices around the world, including Europe and Asia.
Margie Dana
Margie Dana, the founder of Boston Print Buyers, is a former print buyer who turned her passion for printing into a print consulting business. She writes her popular Print Tip column every week to help build bridges between printers and their customers. Today it's read worldwide by more than 3000 subscribers worldwide.
Margie's a sought-after speaker at trade shows and conferences both here and abroad. She's written dozens of articles on printing and has published her first book, "Put It on Paper! Every Person's Guide to the Printing Industry."
Daniel Dejan
Daniel Dejan brings 30+ years of experience as an award-winning graphic designer, art director and print production manager to his current role as National Print & Creative Specialist at Sappi Fine Paper. There, he provides value-added marketing, sales and technical consultation as well as conducting internal and external educational programs.
Scott Dubois
Scott is currently the Cross-Media Specialist at Reynolds DeWalt, where he is responsible for the implementation of variable data and cross-media campaigns. In addition, he provides product support for the sales team and is involved in business growth strategies. Scott has an extensive background in information technology and serves as a resource for many companies in the digital printing marketplace. He frequently speaks nationally on the topics of variable data, digital printing, and hybrid-workflow solutions. He has special interest in cross-media utilization as a delivery track.
Christine Erna
As Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Fulfillment Plus Mailing Solutions, Inc., Christine is responsible for Sales, Business Development, Client Relations Management and Marketing programs. She collaborates with new clients to ensure project completion regarding schedules and effectiveness.
Additionally, Christine presents educational seminars to clients, prospects and partners on a wide range of topics within the direct mail arena. She has been a guest speaker and presented educational seminars within the direct marketing industry at various events, conferences and tradeshows including New England Direct Marketing Association, PINE, and the National Postal Forum.

Lewis Fix is the Director of Business Development for Domtar, North America's third largest producer of printing, publishing, consumer and specialty papers. He has spoken throughout North America on FSC certification, corporate and NGO relationships, and sustainability in the paper and forest products industry.
Martin Hensel
President of Texterity, Inc., Martin Hensel has worked in electronic publishing for 25 years and is widely known for his expertise in XML content production. As founder of LaserData, he was an early pioneer in videodisc and CD-ROM publishing. In 1991, he founded Texterity, which provides digital edition services for more than 300 magazines serving consumer, trade and corporate markets.
Robert McClements
Robert McClements is managing director of Grange Consulting and founding senior executive of PrintYorkshire, a partnership representing 20,000 employees in 1,500 businesses with revenues greater than £3 billion. He has been a managing director of a broad range of print companies in PoP, lithography and newspapers and his international experience includes joint ventures in Europe and the Middle East.
Jack Miller
Known as "The Paper Guru," Jack writes regularly for Canadian Printer Magazine and is Senior Consultant, North America, for Pira International, a leader in paper, print and packaging consulting. He is the author of the Risi study, "Trend Price and the Earnings of North American Paper Producers," and has presented on paper-related topics to numerous conferences.
Chris Smith
An Adobe Certified Expert in Acrobat and one of the world's leading authorities on the program, Chris Smith is the author of many Acrobat books including Teach Yourself Adobe Acrobat in 24 Hours and Real World Adobe Acrobat. He is the CEO of the American Graphics Institute, the largest provider of PDF training services in North America, and has personally led training sessions to more than 5,000 attendees.
Chris Wells
As the president and CEO of LaVigne Inc., Christopher Wells oversees one of the largest independently owned commercial printing companies in New England and one of the top 50 digital printing companies in the world. In addition, he is a member of the board of directors for the Printing Industries of New England, the Hewlett Packard Digital Printing Advisory Council and other leading industry organizations.
