January 19, 2010 Boot Camp for Print Designers is a much-needed new program designed to help graphic designers prepare their materials for commercial and digital printers. Boot Camp attendees will also learn more about the printing industry and where it is headed. It is a seminar for designers who know little about printers and how they work. This three-hour seminar will provide practical insights about how to prepare files for printers. After attending this seminar, designers will be able to work more efficiently and cost-effectively on their employers' and customers' behalf. They will also learn about the market and how the Internet is allowing a new level of competition. Designed specifically for newer graphic designers, Boot Camp for Print Designers is led by the expert printing and print buying powerhouses of RIT Professor Emeritus Frank Romano and PBI founder Margie Dana.
